Directors’ & Officers’ (D & O) is a now standard type of insurance cover for members of company statutory and supervisory bodies and managers. It provides insured persons with protection against potential personal liability to which they are exposed by performing their functions. The injured party may be the company which the insured person works for, or the company’s owners, creditors, employees or other persons.
